Tom
in Germany the DVD was released on my birthday, 21 August (and two well-meaning friends gave it to me). You have 2 options:
1. You can order it from amazon. If you have a new DVD player, simply take your remote control and choose “codefree” to make it play in spite of it coming from another DVD zone (Germany is Zone 2, USA is Zone 1) A foreign DVD can also easily be converted by any good retailer for home entertainment. There are ...other ways, too.
2. You can come and visit me if you're ever in Germany - special performance on home theater system and guestroom with your own bathroom + patio included ;-)))

Hi Tom ... I have searched Amazon.com and they have no details on the DVD release of "The Red Baron".
Could you please post a link to the Amazon site where it is for sale.
Thanks,
WF2

Gee, I'd love to buy a copy....but I don't speak German, or know how to convert euro's to American. Guess I'll have to wait till Amazon offers it here in the states.
Pity it hasn't been released in American theaters either.

I believe that this movie was only filmed in English; therefore the German language version was overdubbed "auf Deutsch". I'm not sure why the film never made it to American theaters yet. If this movie is slated to be released to DVD only in the states, it will certainly be the English version.
