Our vary on Stephan has made the documentary that he previewed for the World Premier at the Dayton air show last year. He has talked about it in some other threads on the Stand here. Russell Smith had also unveiled his painting on this too at Dayton.

I believe that Stephan did talk about some of the showings of his documentary. I would search in the Art and movie sections.

Hi Willi;

THE STAND is a massive research project the will produce several related products (all of which are now available for pre-order). Here's an explanation:

THE STAND: The Final Flight of Lt. Frank Luke, Jr., is a new book from Schiffer Publishing. The book's official web site is found at THE STAND: The Final Flight of Lt. Frank Luke, Jr.. This is the definitive work on Luke, and is a complete biography in addition to the most in-depth work on his death ever produced.

THE STAND is also being made into a one-hour documentary and will be made available via television and as a home DVD. We have three interested networks and have yet to make a decision as to where it will air on television, but we do plan to put a shortened version of it on TV. The DVD will come as a full, uncut one-hour program, with a collector's edition bonus disc with an additional hour of deleted scenes and special features on Frank Luke, Jr.

THE STAND is also a painting by Russell Smith, which is featured on the cover of the book and is available as a signed, limited edition paper print or high quality canvas print.

Please visit THE STAND: The Final Flight of Lt. Frank Luke, Jr. for more information. Thank you for your interest and please let me know what other questions you may have.
