The bad part about torrents is that they take a ridiculous amount of time to download a file, your average torrent is that way at least. The whole deal with torrents doesn't make a bit of sense. I mean, why do you have to use a torrent? You could create a website like FileFront where you simply downloaded one large file, and boom... you're done... but no, we have to have things complicated.
I personally use Rapidshare for these things, but even then, that site is still pretty bad in terms of quality downloading. It's slow (but faster than most torrents), strict (you can only download one file every 15 minutes), and generally poor when it comes to service (buying a premium account doesn't really remove any of the restrictions; you're still limited to downloading only 20GB of material per day; break that limit, and you can't download a thing for 90 days).
