My idea for a WW1 oriented reality show
Heres a good idea for a WW1/reality show.Dig an accurate trench system, get a group of spoiled teen idols and celebs, give them a uniform, rifle, and stationary, and force them to do grueling trench warfare senarios. Its sure to have an impression on them

Live ammo would thin out their ranks considerably.

I would bet that a Hollywood teenage hot shot would drop his rifle and in a fetal position crying out "Oh s#@! were gonna die, were gonna die, help me!!" when the simulated shell explosions start

"Spoiled"? Well, that certainly would take a big, big trench to hold all of them........

There was actually a show quite similar, except without celebrities. Modern British soldiers lived in trenches under Western Front conditions for a couple of months.

"Reality" shows. Soon there'll be a "reality" show about making a "reality" show.
"Vast Wasteland"? Indeed. The term is infinitely more applicable today than when coined in 1961.

Give them some lessons and 10 hours of solo flying time, then put them all up in fully armed DH2s and Eindekkers, and see what happens.
