Whoa!They look alike!
I noticed that Lew Ayres looks very similar to German ace Paul Baumer!Even though the main character in AQWF beared the same name except he's not an aviator.Take a look!

There is some theory that there is some 250 face characters and all of the rest is the variations of the same. I dont know is this true but many time I have seen person who whose I thought I know him and later realised that many years ago I have seen almost the same looking person. You are right, they do look like brothers.
