Recommended DVD on WWI
You may wish to pick up at the library, or order outright, "World War I: the Great War" by Prof. Vejas Gabriel Liulivicius, one of the course offerings from The Teaching Company (I have quite a few of them, they're very good). There are 36 lectures in this DVD set, and for certain there is one on air warfare, but also the war at sea, in the trenches, on the diplomatic front, the social upheavals, and so much more. It's really quite worthwhile, I for one, like many others I'm sure, like to fit whatever model I'm working on into its broader military and historical context, and to learn a bit of history along the way.
