That's not quite true - he also read my book

(He actually reads quite a few - long flights to the US have to be good for something!!)

At least until he decides that he will get a pilot's licence and instead of reading on those long flights, he will be flying.

I've been told that Peter Jackson has a copy of High In The Empty Blue in his office and his workshop has two copies which they read in their tea breaks. If true, I'm pretty proud of that.

And you should be very proud of it too Alex! I have seen a copy of it when I was at Langdon's house last January, and it is an absolute masterpiece!

Regards,

David.

Steve, are you sure 'Crossing the Line' is the same film that is shown at the AWM? I haven't seen it myself but I thought they were two different films - 'Crossing the Line' indeed being just a test and the AWM a different, specially commissioned one

No. I'm NOT sure. I am only going on reports from others. Ashamedly, I STILL haven't been to the AWM to see "Over the Front", but I will in November (I know I said I'd get there LAST November, but...).

Everything I've read about it indicates that they are one and the same film. I can only tell after seeing the AWM display.
