Nice pictures!

Thank you very much for taking and posting these pictures, PETERn! I've enjoyed the close look at these items!

Hmmm...what would be the red on the toe of the boot on the right?

They also have ...

a Pfalz and an Albatross DVa at their Treloar centre being refurbished at the moment and not on display yet. They do have open days there and i'll go to the next one and take some photograps of them.
Other military planes on display outside this forum's core buisness, are a Zero

an Me109-G6 still in its WW2 original paint scheme. Only one in the world apparently all other survivors being repainted

a Lancaster 'G' for George

and a mustang

Time was when the Treloar Centre was open to the public on wqeekends. That practice stopped a few years back, now. How often do the open days occur ?

Seems only open days are for people who becomes Friends of the Memorial.

Thanks for the great photos!

Peter,
The photos you took are awesome. The detail of MvR's control stick is excellent. The AWM also has two of the crosses cut off of 425/17 in their collection. Unfortunately, the last time I heard they were not on display. Did you see them when you visited the museum?

Again thanks for the great photos,
Phil
