How is Rhinebeck These Days?

Well I guess I haven't been around for [I]quite[I] some time.
I see I am being prompted to submit a post so everyone knows I am still alive.
Probably some mixed reactions out there about that.

My kids are talking about all of us going to Rhinebeck for Father's Day and I know there were some unhappy things going on up there a while back.
Had some financial troubles and unhappy volunteers. Also something about selling off a few aircraft.

Always really enjoyed the place but that was a while back years ago.
Would appreciate hearing impressions of the place or how it has changed from anyone who has been there within the past year or so.

Thanks.

BobE

Hi Bob,
I notice you were one of the original members here from 2001. Wow, do you ever have some catch up homework to do!

There is an entire section in this forum for Old Rhinebeck threads, of which there are two very well-established ones; one that is nicknamed the "trouble thread" and the other is known as the "happy thread."

Between the two threads, you will find more than you ever cared to know and you'll likely become completely ensconced in the battle for ORA's survival, like some of the rest of us who fell in love with the man and his place long ago.

I suggest you take your energy (if you have enough to muster after reading your homework) and add your two cents there, instead of starting a new thread here. Thanks and welcome back to the aerodrome!

Here's your reading list:
