GWFM Open House

I would like the thank all the members of the Great War Flying Museum for their hospitality last night during their open house. Jeff, Vet and I made the trip from Rochester to see their shop and to meet many of the guys who do not travel with the planes during the summer.

To a man (and woman), they are very good people and we enjoyed our short visit to their hangar and museum. If you are traveling to Toronto and want something to do that involves old planes, it is worth your time to stop by and say hello.

Regards,
Phil

I drove by there place two weeks ago on my way up to a customer in Owen Sound. Well I missed going to GWFM and since I was in Owen Sound I looked into Billy bishops place but again no luck they closed there door at 4pm and I got off work at 5pm..

When I go back up, I will plan to have more time so I can visit...

Der Grüne Flieger:

Did you take any photo?

Lloyd...

Hi Lloyd,

No pictures, mostly because my camera stinks. Jeff brought his, but we spent most of our time talking with John W. and the rest of the crew.

Their website is terrific, I recommend you look there.

Phil

Thanks for the kind words, Phil. However, there is a great big caveat: we switched ISPs recently, and some of the content is either AWOL or MIA. But I'm working on it.

At least we were able to get some decent images of our own aircraft back up, courtesy of Eric Dumigan.
