Freebooter Observer Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Millbrook, Alabama Posts: 34	WWI aircraft museums in the central Alabama area? Hello all, I had the great good fortune to visit the WWI fighterplane museum in Guntersville, Alabama (or was it Albertsville). Either way it was up in NE Alabama. Boo koo planes, displays of WWI equipment, gear, etc.. But alas, that museum is no more. So, does anyone know of any museum with WWI airplanes anywhere near the central Alabama area? I have heard the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola has two or three WWI planes. But I want to find a good amount of planes from WWI to look at. Is there any decent displays around here?
