Anyone Going to The Royal Aeronautical Society Library?

All,

Are there any Londoners that would be willing to do me a favor? There are some data I'd like to retrieve from the Royal Aeronautical Society Library. I have contacted the Librarian and identified the location of the information I seek. The problem is:

The library does not offer copies of the information I seek. They do offer photos of the data; however, it is very expensive (about $25-$50 USD per page)...ouch!

The library does allow a person to hand copy the information. This is where I seek a person willing to copy the information for me. If anyone is interested, please contact me (dstaha@msn.com). Otherwise, I guess I'll just have to fly over the pond to get it myself.

Thanks in advance.

As a suggestion I would tell you not to xerox it but take a digital camera and photograph it. It gets the costs down (read this sugestion from a comment at Airminded · Airpower and British society, 1908-1941)

Thanks Ricardo, but I've already been down that road. I don't believe the library will allow an individual to take digital photos since they want to take the digital photo themselves and charge the $25-$50 USD per page. That is why I am looking for someone to "hand copy" the notes and calculations I'm seeking as noted in my original post.

The library holds 30 notebooks written by Frank Barnwell and other members of the former Bristol Aircraft Co. I have a list of specific data I'm seeking, but would love to obtain the information contained in the 30 notebooks as a whole.

Anyone out there have this information?
