Hi Colin,

Fantastic photos of an absolutely magnificent aeroplane! Is it on long term loan, and did you take the photos of it?

Regards,

David.

Deutsches Museum

Answer is "Yep!" to each of the two questions you each posed.

I did not realise that were were two museums in Munich, one in town and the other a fair way out. Missed the RUmpler C.IV in town.

Thanks, Colin. Please tell us more about this "other" Deutsches Museum -- where it is, how to get there, etc.

Also, in the 3rd photo in your latest string, there is a portion of a Fokker D.VII seen at the far right. Is it the old D.VII that has been at the Deutsches Museum for a long time -- or something new?
