Aeronautical Sheet Music

While trying to find a particular piece of aviation sheet music I discovered this collection of aviation themed sheet music at the Smithsonian Instituation.
The link to some of the collection is below. Wonderful artwork! Note the Oswald Boelcke Fliegerwalzer and Der Adler von Lille.



Bella C. Landauer Collection

I've been looking for Battle in the Air by Howard Spencer, a piano solo from around 1919. Would appreciate a PM if anyone has any knowledge of this item.

Interesting stuff Flieger! Thanks for the post. In addition to the songs you mentioned, wouldn't it be nice to know what The Aeroplane Dip is all about, seeing as it was published in 1904!?
