Something from 1910 ....
.... You my recognize this tune if your old enough, just kidding.
Come Josephine in my Flying Machine
I found the sheet music in an old music store. My violin instructor and I put this together from it. He is playing the piano and me on the violin.
I thought it appropriate for the forum, hope you enjoy it.

Womenfly2,
That would be a very nice accompaniment to a video of pioneer aircraft.

I know the chorus. How did the verses go? I don't think I ever heard any of them.

Thanks for the ords and music to "Josephine". It's a cute song. My grandmother used to hum and whistle the tune.

WF2,
Very nice! Just found this thread. Also, the other two you put on there wre nice as well. SWMBO likes to play "It's a Long, Long Trail a Winding".

Aviation 2010/Films & Music Programming
Hello,
I listened to you playing the violin today. I enjoyed it. Would you be available to play "Come Josephine in my Flying Machine" and other ditties of the era with Friends, sometime during our festival in Greater Montreal, Quebec from June 23rd to July 1st, 2010?
