This is the way these marches used to be played - thank God the phase where the Bundeswehr was so afariad of its own music that they played every march like a concert pice is over!
Since the drill team of the Wachbattalion was introduced, we're finally back to playing them the way they were written. Now, we just need to get back to playing the National Anthem that way too. Complete with the drum and fanfare prelude. At least for the soccer games against England!
