Smile The Centennial of WW1

I helped take two of our World History classes to the National WW1 Museum at the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri, last Spring. The kids really appreciated it, had fun and want to again this school year.

It will be interesting to see the special things the museum does for the centennial.

Oh, that museum. It's a fantastic place. I went there in college when I was on a concert band tour to Kansas City; I dragged along my roommate and another girl who was in band with us -- and surprisingly, they both liked it as well, even though neither of them were particularly into history. Myself, I was like a kid in a candy store. : P Now I'm curious to see if they do anything special for the centennial as well.
