Hello from the land of jet aircraft and good coffee...

My name's Robert and I'm from Seattle. I discovered this site while doing some research for a short article on Frank Luke.

A very well-organized site, indeed.

I run a small press up here in Seattle and do news articles sometimes. In my free time I like to hike, camp, fish the Great Northwest.

Welcome aboard

Robert,

Welcome. This is a great WWI aviation forum. If you would also like a periodical, please consider Over the Front, from the League of WWI Aviation Historians. Our web address is Welcome to The League of WWI Aviation Historians. We publish a quarterly journal comprised of work done exclusively by volunteers.

Good to have you in the squadron (or staffel, in my case). By the way, in this writer's opinion, good coffee is that which you could power a rotary engine on. (But that's just me...)

Howdy to Our Newest Yankee

Howdy Robert, Glad you decided to join up. So you're from Seattle eh, My first fiancee moved there after we broke up. I apologize if she caused you any incovenience in the past and, knowing her, she probably did.

If you need copies photos for most WWI aircraft for research projects just e-mail me. I may have copies of something you're working on and I share what I have. Let me know if I can help. VR, Scott Price, a.k.a. Roadhog

RobertMBlevins,

Welcome aboard the flagship The Aerodrome. This site has just about everying that a WW buff could ask for.

I use to live in Tacoma Fm about 1965 to 1975, just down the street from you all and loved to go to the farmers market down on the docks for fresh seafood.

Couldn't get any better than that.

Again welcome aboard.

P.s. I also write short stories: recent one - Werner Voss was he a hero or a superhero. let me know if you are interested in printing it.
