A Quick Hi

Just a quick hi to all the members.

My main interests are is in the history of photographic reconnaissance, I'm petty clued up on modern day & WWII and now looking at WWI

I have been a photographer in the RAF for the past 32 years mainly working on reconnaissance systems, that's where I got the love for Photo-Recce.

I hope I can have some input into the site as well gaining information from it.

Cheers

Hi mfg495 and welcome to the Aerodrome! I am sure you will enjoy your stay here, as I have done for the past six years or so. We are always looking for new 'blood' as it allows for more diverse opinions on any one topic.

Hopefully your love of aerial reconnaissance will increase our awareness of an often neglected area of study.

Regards,

Darren

Howdy MFG

Welcome to our huble abode sir. I am a retired Army officer who came up through the ranks. I am currently writing a WWI aviation novel although I haven't touched the thing since December sine I have been hospitalized three times. Growing old really, really sucks.

I own a decent little collection of WWI images of pilots and airplanes so if you need anything let me know. I share what I have. VR, Maj. Scott Price, USAR (Retired) a.k.a. Roadhog

Thanks Roadhog,

My website (Airrecce The story of photographic reconnaissance) only has very small section on WW1, so any info you are willing to part with would be very grateful.

OK, This Is the Fun Part

Dear Mick, OK, I will look through my images this weekend. You want any observation crates right? Including naval float planes? Any and all nations?

If I have the images already scanned I can send them to you via your civilian e-mail account. If I don't have them scanned yet I can send you the images on a disk. It takes more time but several of the gang here have been happy with the results. Private message me with your e-mail account and mailing address. VR, Scott
