Welcome Ricardo and thanks for your marvellous pictures of the Taubes in Berlin. Your pictures are beauties in itself, of course also due to the marvellous restoration and condition of these machines.
Have a good time here on the Forum.
By the way, always interesting to have all nationalities from around the world, who can bring in their expertise and history from their own country. Any specials about Portugal in 1914-1918, or about early flying before 1914 ?
The first Portugese flier was Óscar Blanck (1878-1944) who first flew in autumn 1909 in a R.E.P monoplane on the airfield Issy-les-Molineaux near Paris.
Cheers
Kees

Greetings Ricardo and welcome to the Aerodrome. We are definately "before the 60s". You've come to the right place to learn and share.

Thanks you all for your warm welcoming. The photos where taken during my last trip to Berlin, this here. I also visited the Luftwaffen Museum near Berlin, near Spandau. I have more photos that I'll be posting, I think the all set would please you all:
Technikmuseum Berlin - Aircraft - a set on Flickr
and
Luftwaffenmuseum - a set on Flickr
I have another set with engines, I'll be uploading them this week. My knowledge from WWI portuguese flyers is limited, flying here only took of from real after WWI, the first military aircraft in Portugal was a Deperdussin B. I also belong to a group/forum/project that tries to document all of the aviation history in Portugal:
História da Aviação Portuguesa
It's in PT only but if anyone sees something of interest I can try to translate.
Once again, thanks for your warm welcome!
Ricardo Reis
