New member - Salonika Front

Hello all,

Another new member reporting for duty.
I'm English, but have lived in Greece for 16 years. My main interest is WW1 aviation on the Salonika Front.

I live inside the area that was the French Aircraft Park in Kalamaria, Salonika.
Looking for any information/photos/descriptions etc. of the airfields and seaplane bases around here (Aircraft Park, Mikra Bay, Lembet, Sedes, Lahana, Drama, Stavros/Vrasna, Janes, Kirec, Hudova, Xanthi, Thasos etc.), and the air forces of all nationalities involved.

I see there are some Greeks on the forum. Γειά σας παιδιά! Ποιός μένει στη Θεσσαλονίκη;

i understand a 2nd lt. teodorescu crashed in salonika while ferrying aircraft to romania.

It's nice to see someone with interest in the Salonika front... Unfortunately, we are not a very large number to investigate on this subject.
