FNG here! My name is Chris and I am a long time aviation fan. Was wishing to fly since before I started school and of course became an instant fan of pilots and war time aviation. I was very happy to find your very informative and amusing forum and am proud to be a member.
Looking forward to getting to know you all better and glean more information about my lifes passion.
Welcome aboard Chris. It's hard to find a better foundation of military aviation than the men and machines of The Great War!

Thanks guys. I loved modeling as a kid and still have a SPAD that I got when i was just 5 or 6. Lately my modeling interests have been of a nice 3/4 scale replica. I was just viewing recently an SE5 and a Nieuport replicas at the local airport. Only the SE was in flying condition but it is a dream...for now.
Can't wait to dig in and absorb all I can from the existing threads...Tally ho!
