Hello!

Hello,

my name is David Garcia and I am from Spain.

I have never used a flight simulator seriously before, but I can say I spended many hours in the old KOTS in the Amiga 500, and oh...! what a great game it was.

I have seen there is a WIP of a new version of this game, and I really would like to have it and start knowing some more about flying with this machines, this is also the reason I whyI have registered here. I have a racing simulator cockpit, also with track IR so I think I can enjoy this new version. My main interest is Sim Racing, but why shouldn´t I test a serious experience with KOTS?

I would appreciate any help to start with flight sims. I dont want to fly in every available sim, but is there somethig similar to KOTS, or should I wait for that one?

Thanks in advanced!

Cheers,
David

Hello David,
Is your interest in online flying, or in campaign like the old KotS?

Well, I loved the campaign mode of the old game, so the answer is yes, but I will also like to take the plane and make a free fly.

Why you ask?

Well, I am biased, but for campaign, I would recommend Over Flanders Fields - a total conversion of MS CFS 3. Our older version, Phase 2, is free for the asking at OFF Phase 2 DVD Requests - Sim-Outhouse Forums.
We will soon be releasing our newest version, Over Flanders Fields - Between Heaven and Hell. But do try the older version first!
If it is online flying you seek, I would recommend the also soon to be released
Rise of Flight - here is the link: RoF Blog - Blogs
See you in the air!

You can find all of Over Flanders Fields movies in WMV high quality at
OVER FLANDERS FIELDS
It is unclear when Rise of Flight will be available, but I believe it is almost completed.
Cheers,
shredward

Gracias!

I think I reached this forum a bit cinfused, guided by the WWI flight simulators and KOTS and not the main subject of the Aerodrome, anyway, I hope I can still discussing in the sims forum.

I will take a deeper look to the whole Aerodrome forum.

Thanks!
