Hello I was always interested in WWI and German Prussian history and this week I stumbled over some books about flying corps during World War I and was interested right away. So I’ve just joined here and chose the nick name Gerhard von Scharnhorst, a famous reformer during Napoleon times in Prussia.
Firstly sorry that I am replying this late; I’ve had a busy time the last week.
And @ FliegerJG1
Richthofens Roter Kampflieger; my girlfriend did get me to buy her a 1917 copy of it and I’ve decide to read it . It's quite interesting so I thought to join her to get some more infos.
Location: The Joad homestead north of Abilene, Kansas.

Guten Abend Scharnhorst
You have chosen the name and avatar of a great man and brave ship. Welcome to the Forum. What are your WWI aviation interests? I am a retired Army MP brigade commander and have loved WWI aviation since I was a small boy building balsa wood and tissue airplanes.
My father was a pilot but my eyes were too bad to even try. If I can help you give me a shout since I have several images of pilots and planes and I share what I have. VR, Scott Price, a.k.a. Roadhog
