Hello from a new member in Australia

[Deperdussin]

Hello everyone,

I have just joined up a couple of months ago and have enjoyed reading the posted threads on various subjects in the forum.

My interest is with pre WWI aircraft built by the French company Aeroplanes Deperdussin or many may know as SPAD.

For the last couple of years I have been gathering information, plans, photos, catalogues, basically anything I could get my hands on for the early Deperdussin aircraft. I am now about half way through drafting up a set of build plans for the Deperdussin Monocoupe aeroplane, not the racer, but has similar lines to the racer, which I intend to build.

Looking forward to being part of the Aerodrome Forum.
