Hi everyone,

i'm a new guy overhere, so i will introduce myself.

My name is Danny, i'm 39 years old and live in Belgium Flanders.

My intrest in W.W.1 aviation began when i started with the research of 16 glass negatives, that i have in my collection.
Some questions where answered, others not, si i will hope i find some answers overhere.

Welcome Danny!

Welcome to the Aerodrome Danny! You are very lucky to have 16 glass negatives! Are they all of aeroplanes? I am sure that some of us here on the forum will be able to help you with information about them.

I've just seen one of your photos on another thread, along with a description of some of the negatives. Very impressive!

Cheers, David.

Welcome Aboard Danny

Welcome to the Forum Danny, Like I said in an earlier post my great grandmother spoke Flemmish and French. She came to America in the 1880s. Living in Flanders is like an Elvis fan living with walking distance of Graceland. I envy you.

I am a retired Army brigade commander and have loved WWI aviation since I was a small boy building balsa wood and tissue airplanes. My father was a pilot but my eyes were too bad to even try.

If I can help you give me a shout since I have several images of pilots and planes and I share what I have. VR, Scott Price, a.k.a. Roadhog

Many thank's guy's for the warm welcome on this nice forum.

@ Scott: that's just great to heare you're great grandmother spoke Flemisch.

I'm not exactly living near the part where the war was at his fearst.
But it's about 110 kilometres from the battlefield.
I live near Antwerp.

I think, you could say for American and Australian guy's overhere 110 kilometres is just peanut's, according to the distances you guy's have to drive somethimes.

Again, many thank's

Greetz
