Great Avatar There Red!
Dear Red Fighter, Welcome to our wonderful WWI site. You couldn't have landed in a better place since this is truly the home of the experts. I am constantly amazed at the wealth of knowledge that our members possess and their willingness to share it with others.
I am a retired Army brigade commander and have loved WWI aviation since I was a small boy building balsa wood and tissue airplanes (which I promptly wrecked). My father was a pilot but my eyes were too bad to even try. If I can help you give me a shout since I have several images of pilots and planes and I share what I have. VR, Scott Price, a.k.a. Roadhog

Charleston, One of My Favorite Towns!
Dear Red Flyer, Half of my family lives in Lexington, just over the hill from you all. Also, I am a charter member of the Friends of the Hunley Historial Society. One of my very best friends in the historian at Fort Sumter so maybe I can get you the "baker's tour" sometime. Wonderful town and great people. I envy you. VR, Scott

DerRoteKampfflieger: Goering?
If I'm not mistaken, the pilot in the last scene of your video is Hermann Goering, not MvR. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not. Just pointing that out for your information. Otherwise it was a stunning memorial to the greatest fighter ace of WWI!!!

Thanks for that.
I know that I left off with Goering. I wanted a feel that MvR was no longer with us and others would take his place. I did not have any video of Reinhard so I had to settle with Goering.
Sorry about this.

Yes, Yes, Yes
Yes sir he is the man. I think he prefers "infamous" which according to Steve Martin in the Three Amigos means more than famous. Do you know Rick? Scott

Rick knows his stuff! I have not seen him in about 6 years though.
