new member.

hi all.

i'm a new member who has number of questions.

i'm a wargamer who a long time ago used to wargame WW1 planes. i want to give it another go. i'm out of touch with the available models etc..

does anyone reccomend any rules. perhaps a touch more accurate/difficult that wings of war..

where can one get hold of toko models in the UK? especially the siemens schukert 1/72 model? i saw a beautiful one at colours last weekend and have alwys wanted to build one.

is there a good supplier website for WW1 1/72 model planes in the UK?

how good are the roden 1/72 models? are they easy easy to put together? i've had difficulty with the first one i bought. might just be me though..!!

what are the best decals (manufacturers) for late war german lozenge pattern? again the roden transfers i had fell apart...

thanks all.

Hi! Welcome to The Aerodrome Forum.

You've posted your questions in the New Member Introductions area. This is where you introduce yourself to the other members.

To get answers to your questions, it's quicker to post them one at a time in the appropriate forum (i.e. Aircraft, Models, Games, etc.)

If you have any questions or need any help, please let me know.

Hi and welcome. Two decent UK model places:

Hannants - Plastic model kits and accessories

Netmerchants > Scale Models

Both websites have a good search facility, and I have bought stuff from both of them. Hannants went out of their way to import a Russian model for me once, even phoning me up to see if I still wanted it because it took them a bit of a lengthy search to find it. Netmerchants are unbelievably rapid at delivering stuff - I've had things arrive the day after I ordered them numerous times from Netmerchants.
