Greetingd from a newbie - sort of

Hi Everyone.

Been lurking about for the most part but after surprising myself by a victory on the Challenge, I guess I need to make myself known. I actually came on board on a geneology questions. I spotted a German pilot on the Ace List with my Family name, Fritz Hoehn, and found that tcrean7828 claims to be a relation. Tom and I have talked and I am waiting for him to take care of before we get into details.

Having said that I love history, in particular Avaition and Naval History in the first half of the 20th century and am an admitted battleship nut. I've been model building for most of my life. Currently most of my modeling subjects are 1/48 scale US Naval Aviation. Until recently that a tough find for WW I, but my current project is Eduards Hanriot HD-2.
