Not a German toy here.
Published by Scott

Not a German toy here.

Not a German toy here.

We will not spoil anybody's Christmas by putting before them toys made in Germany.
Ugh! the very thought of it makes one sick.
Toys from the people who have been slaying little children in Belgium. Toys from the beasts who respect not womanhood or old age! Could anything be more revolting than to think of our children playing with toys from the bloodstained hands of a nation that knows neither decency nor honor!
You need have no fear that one single pound of all the tons of German toys just landed in New York, will reach this store. Why, if we had our way they would all be piled in a huge heap and burned.
There is no place for them in a loyal American home, nor in a loyal American store.
Toyland is a bright and happy place. It glows with joy-giving things. We don't propose to shadow it with even a further thought about toys from Germany.
