OTTAWA (CP)—David L. Burgess, 69, a candidate in the Dec. 5 municipal elections for board of control and a past Dominion president of the Canadian Legion died in hospital here Wednesday night following a heart attack.
He stepped down from the Legion post at the Windsor convention last May after four years as president.
