old planes, old people & inflation

I had a "hoot" as my wife threw me a surprise 60th Birthday party the other day. I really got a kick out of this old photo of me, that my wife had transferred to the birthday cake. It was "our" T-6, circa 1950! Dad later sold it for $1750, but, of course, at such a HUGE price he was obilgated to fly it to PA and deliver it to new owner. Probably would not cover the cost of the fuel today
Sadly-I think my poor old body has inflated even more than the value of the T-6 during those past 50 something years
