Barnstorming '06
Did our annual barnstorming trip to Indiana last week, had a Cub, my Pitts, two Wacos, Aeronca, Pietenpol, Skybolt, and a couple of others in the alfalfa field. Plus 6 Model A's and a 1923 Model T Delivery Truck.

baldeagle,
Man, you are livin" the dream!!
With all those red aeroplanes, from a distance looks like a "flyboys" reunion, yes?
Did you have to give Frank a head start in his Pietenpol?

At last fall's Dawn Patrol I talked with a man who was part of a group who was restoring an autogiro just north of Dayton, New Carlisle I think.
Same group, or is there yet another vintage autogiro here in the Buckeye state?

Paint me envy green!
The clear belly panels and wire reference frame indicate that you're flying the Pitts in competition. What class?

First evening on the trip I followed the Baldeagle to a strip mowed out of a corn field that is owned by a country diner. The Piet joined us there and we had dinner.

The second day ended at this bean field somewhere in Ohio. In the near hanger is a Stinson SM8 and a Hisso Standard.

Baldeagle,
Where you at New Carlisle, Ohio airport?
I think that's my friend autogiro. I haven't seen it yet, he has been telling me about it. Gee, had I known you were flying through, I would have stopped in.
