A-10 gone?

Last two A-10's left for Ft. Smith today from the 104FW, Westfield, Massachusetts. Any more info?

I don't understand what you are talking about. The US Air Force has wanted to kill the A-10 from its birth, but it has proven so useful in in every war since 1991 that it has been kept going.

It has gotten an avionics upgrade. It seems as long as the airframes last, the Warthog will keep flying.

104th FW Massachusetts ANG is re-equipping with F-15C. Because of commitments elsewhere and A-10C upgrade programme going on at Ogden ALC there are not enough airframes. A-10C is projected to serve beyond 2020s.

104th Fighter Wing pilots break records!.
