Thanks for these pictures. BEAUTIFUL !!!!! For me, the most beautiful WW2-Fighter. Do you know if anyone of the "Longnoses" survived ??

I have read an article some decade ago about one almost in nice condition recovered from one river in Germany. As I know there is preserved original samples in the UK and USA but have no precise info in the moment.

Sreiko, the first photo in your second posting depicts a Ta 152H, not a FW 190D. Watch the tail, the longer wings.

There a only two FW190D surviving, both in the US. A D-9 and a D-13.

According to the "Preserved Axis Aircraft" website there are 4 survivors. The two already mentioned in the U.S. are complete examples and the other two, one in England and one in Germany, appear to be recovered wrecks and possibly just parts.

Yes, four Fw 190D (and one Ta 152H) remained. BTW

Mikael Olrog's peserved axis aircraft site is very good.
