thanks for your kind sentiments. guess what? suddenly, since scheduling to do the oshkosh forums, three more eaa chapter meetings and a non-aviation group want me to give my presentation at their june and july meetings as warm-ups for me for oshkosh. one of them is in just two weeks at the golden west eaa airshow, (a big one in its 10th year!). i am on their forums schedule for sunday, june 8 from 11 a.m. to noon. if anyone reading this is going to it, in marysville, california, please come to my show in a big hangar. hoo boy, now i really have to turn on the speed to re-format my slide show. Forums on Sunday |

HI Martha .. I was just going through my photos and came across the postcard you sent me in 1988. I cannot believe that book is not out yet?? Just remember it was my idea to try to get you on the Goodyear blimp and the Spruce Goose .. and it worked .. hope all is good with you, you old buddy Vytas Katilius

vitas??!! VITAS???! ha! wow, i don't believe it! hey vitas, i think i wrote about you early on in this book thread! wow! now, i guess you're going to have to read it. changed your name just a little. great to hear from you. still in so cal?
yeah, i know i'm slow at the book writing. it's not as exciting a process as flying in old aeroplanes. hey, if you're able to come up to marysville this weekend, i'll be giving a slide show forum on the journey at the eaa golden west airshow on sunday. i think there's a pic of you in it. |

wow long time
Oh Martha ... I am in Hawaii so I will miss your presentation, but I'd love to attend a later one ..:-) I am moving back to the mainland July 1st .. as there is a doctor shortage on the big island and I need to see a specialist .. I retired 2 1/2 years ago and have been spending 8 mos or so in Hawaii .. bought a place in Austin and lived there for a year ... hated it and sold and came back to Hawaii but now I have island fever and need to see a few docs sooo back to LA .. I'd love to see ya and see how you are doing ........... Vytas I am now the vagabond your were then ha ha ha
