thanks, john, i'm gonna blame it on cold, damp, january gloom, this drafty house and having to keep too many different irons in the fire at the same time. once the sun comes back out and warms things up my outlook and output will get back to normal. maybe i'll take one of your suggestions and go take my laptop over to a little airfield nearby today. i'll sit in my car and type up more of my logbook entries and mom's log entries. appreciate your encouragement.

Oh Martha, I really hope that outburst from me doesn't offend you. It fell from my fingertips while reading your post. Tough time of year this mid winter. I'm also feeling in a bit of a mud puddle myself.
But you know, as I know, and we all know, we get thru these tough times, we just keep smiling and walking forward. Take that trip to the airfield. Maybe it too, will end up in your book.
100% support to you from my mud puddle!

Logbook Remark
Day 99
Saturday, September 3
Texas to Oklahoma
Started again in the morning from Dalhart, Texas. Weather has cleared.
[insert photo]
...Total flying time from Chino to Bartlesville was 15 hours in David Waterman's Stinson Voyager. Delayed twice along route for weather, which cut one day off our planned time at the Antique Airplane Association Fly-In.
