wow, thank you rory for such kind words and analysis. your fourth sentence might look really good on my book jacket!
ireland, ahhh, the calendars of it. but only eight degrees? yikes! how does it stay so green?
regarding my age then and now, as i was asked it many times on my journey, i gave it as 87 (see Frozen Barnstormer chapter). and that was twenty years ago, so i'm 107 now.
my twin neices? they're all grown up with important, responsible careers assiting people. they are outstanding citizens of the world. and they come visit their cousins and crazy auntie martha on the other side of the country every now and then.

Green fields and old age
107 is good... I remember it well...
The trick here is it seldom hits freezing, and anyway, it rains a little somewhere on the island on just about every day of the year, though down here in the South West, on what is known, slightly tongue in cheek, as Ireland's Cotes d'Azure because of the Gulf Stream (may it last), we get some lovely long hot summer days - sometimes!! Last year we went straight from spring to autumn, but this year we hope for better...
And for sure feel free to quote me on the book jacket!!
Enjoy the day!!

Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall
I just realised I hadn't had an email notification for ages, but I guess you are still hibernating. Incidentally, remember that discussion we were having of temperatures? Well, it occurs to me you were talking Farenheit and I, being a European, was talking Centigrade, so our 6 Degrees is still above freezing, in fact about the same as your 40. Anyway, who cares, it's just damn cold!!
Like your pal above, I am happy to wait for the next installments so long as you haven't given up (I'm sure anyone who could make that journey is not the kind to give up now). Meanwhile, I finished my own book and now it is in a big pile of unread manuscripts on my agent's desk!! Fingers crossed please, as mine are for you...
That Richtofen quote is a harsh one, huh? But that is the stuff of heroes, I guess...
I hope you are well and keep on writing, won't you? Please!!
Rory

Exceptionally well preserved, Ma'am. Must come from living right.
