Stearman Flying Wires
Hey guys,

I have a friend who owns a B75N-1. We were cleaning her up the other day after several flights and we noticed that the base of its flying wires were starting to rust and need to be cleaned up and polished. Do any of you have any suggestions on how to go about doing this? Also, we have been using small amounts of paint thinner to clean the oil off the belly of the plane and it seems to work fine. Can anyone give me any suggestions on better/safer cleaning agents for fabric as well?
