What is this plane ?

Hello

I found this picture of a model kit and I wonder what plane it corresponds to... I think I am safe to say it is a post-WWI plane but who knows..?

Can anyone help ?

Here is another view of the same... a bit blurry but another angle

The Travelair was made in 1925....what you posted looks a bit older than that.

It looks like the 4000 had several design changes over the years while retaining the model name.

Found this model site....the model has German markings. Good luck.

Hi jdavias

the Travel Air were used as Fokker D.VII in the "Hell's Angels" movie. There is some info in the D.VII anthology #2.
