PZL P.11c
i just built the late 30's polish gullwing fighter in 1/48 by mirage hobby.all in all it was an enjoyable build and it turned out nice.i dont have a camera so i cant show pictures.i did one in romanian markings.the model has nice surface detail throughout and simulates the corrugated metal very well.the prop had a couple sinkholes and the collector ring exhaust had one sinkhole which i left figureing it could simulate a dent in the metal.i also replaced the photoetch landing gear supports with brass rod. all in all a nice kit for $25.i got it through my local hobby shop who orders from mmd/squadron. there are 3 options available from mirage. a polish markings fighter, a polish markings bomber(with resin bombs) and a romanian markings kit which is the one i got. another reason i wanted to post is to talk about the pricing. the first above listed the polish fighter lists for $38 and the other two for $25. i researched it and they all have the same plastic the same photoetch fret and the same resin radiator except the bomber which also has resin bombs. so i dont know why the polish marked fighter is more expensive.shouldnt the bomber be more since it has additional resin bombs. besides the romanian fighter version i got also had markings for a polish fighter.anyway just thought someone might benefit from the info.
