Thank you very much for the insight. Fortunately, many folks that feel strongly about this topic are not known to the "bouncers" at the ORA, thus the position that I am representing.
It is somewhat shocking really that the website is so stripped of compelling photos, and the collection of wheeled vehicles.
In order for this forum to really have any impact, ALL views need to be explored fully.

Since the website is new, I'll wait to see if more content is added. Seems odd to start with such a bare bones site, however, as there are plenty of people taking photos and video of the shows. Even some content from the original site could have been pulled over.

Bitz Dr1,
love your enthusiasm. might i suggest you start by organizing a group of locals to show up on a saturday morning with clipboards and lined paper and set them loose, starting with the quonset huts.

AutoCAD 2009 LT is on my machine now "for future needs of ORA"...when needed !
Dear Fellow ORA Fans:
The PIPE Here...a quick one to AAC Cadet Leader, as I've NOW got a fully LICENSED copy of AutoCAD LT 2009 on my PC for updating my CAD drafting skills with a "relatively recent" version of the same computer drafting envirornment as I used to use when I WAS working...doing up new drawings for a re-creation of the ORIGINAL "Der Sausage Factory", as well as many other examples of Cole's setpiece buildings at ORA, can NOW be done in the "most supported" CAD software of them all, RIGHT on my own PC...
...just to remind you...I'll be READY to take care of it when needed !
Yours Sincerely,
The PIPE!

Really cool Pipe!
I hope you get the chance to use those skills for the good of ORA.
Unfortunately, it seems the NYS Museum Charter office has blown ORA off, again. Supposedly, something was supposed to happen by September, but it is now only a few days from November and nothing seems any different; just the same empty promise. I know how bureaucracy can be slow, but this is more like obscene.
Salute!

If memory serves me correctly, the attached is a list of what was in the collection at the aerodrome in 2003 (Ok, actually I have to thank Pipe for the tip - Thanks, Pipe.)

Not that secret
ORA BOT meetings take place once a month on a Tuesday in the office building. Not sure if they take place in the off season. The Tuesday (first second third forth) seems to vary slightly.

Collection Contents
Thanks for the list of pieces in the collection. I know many of the week time employees and volunteers have been wanting to form a current inventory, but lacked a point from which to start. Hopefully I can get this to them and a more current and detailed list can be made. Thanks Albrecht!
-Regards,
Oswald

That is one of the most laughable statements I've seen on this forum, and you made a few just in that post. Have some more Kool-Aid.
He might be right about your brain cells.
