Run up of the Aeromarine. L - R - Mike Fischer, ? , my cousin Ed, me, Cole. Two kids sitting in a running aeroplane- this was Cole's idea of fun and the type of thing that REALLY left an impression in a kid.
I would have loved to see that plane fly. To bad it burned up on the trailer after being covered. Dick, do you remember what happened ? Did it ever fly ?

Here is a shot of the Aerodrome's Fokker D.VII. Behind it is Brian Coughlin's Fokker D.VIII. (1993?)

The Fokker D.VII's current paint job with the New Standard behind it. The haze in the background was from a forest fire up in Canada! I remember smelling it all the way down on Long Island that morning.

My favorite part of the show was always the bombing run. Here, the planes line up for take-off, with Bill King's beautiful Tiger Moth in the lead.
