This is a terrific idea! I have posted all of my digital photos at home.comcast.net/~aeroc. I will get my still photos scanned and post the as soon as I can. I also have hours of video that I can post snippets of.

Thanks Doug. Those are nice pics! Can you underline the URL to make it a bit easier? Also, for new computer users (like me), if you click on any of Doug's pics on the page, they enlarge. (I didn't know that the first time I looked at your pic page a couple of months ago.)

Looking forward to your scanned stills, too, Doug.

I had thought about posting some of mine along with worded good memories on the well-established thread, but the karma just didn't feel right.

I've got many more to post in days/weeks ahead.

P.S. Those who might recognize themselves in any of my slides, please step forward and identify yourself. Sorry, I don't remember all the names.

Dear, all you need to do is click and highlight the web address and copy and paste it into your browser....unless you're doing that and are just trying to be polite to a newcomer!

BTW, Welcome, Doug!

I was, actually. Hasn't been very long since I was bright green at this and didn't know that.

Still haven't figured out how to get my photos to post right here on the page, without doing it through photobucket. Everything I've got is over 50k.

Look on the reply page, click on the IMG button, then enter the URL (http:// and so on...) for the photo.

Here's one of your photos:

baldeagle, how did you do that?! Okay, you explained it. Thanks. I'll give it another try, but it just kicked one back at me.

Oh, BTW how bout a little photo credit under my slide?

And who's the guy with the coffee? I used to know his name.

Here is a group photo from 1982. I have many good memories from those days.
This was taken while a photographer was setting up a shot for a long postcard that was sold in the gift shop for many years by Rita Palen and her sister Marion.

To ACC Cadet Leader - To answer your question, Karl Erickson is the guy with the coffee cup at the Bleriot on page 1 of this thread. Karl is a great guy and loads of fun. He is working at Owl's Head Museum of Transportation in Maine now. Thanks for coming up with the excellent idea for this thread. - Your fellow Air Adventurer. :P
