Rhinebeck Jamboree, September 8-9, 2007
The Mid-Hudson R/C Society dedicated this year's model meet to Dick King.
His son, Matt King, opened the meet by flying one of his father's models in the rubber powered mass launch.
One modeler participating in the mass launch with his Bellanca.
Sean Tavares had the longest rubber-powered flight on both days.

ORA Jamboree 2007 part 2
WWI Aero/Skyways had a super booth.
The model flight line.
Compare with the flight line of the ORA aeroplanes.

ORA Jamboree 2007 part 4
ORA made a maximum effort for the weekend's airshows.
Bill King in his Tiger Moth.
Chad Wille flying the Bleriot.
My absolute favorite, the Jenny.
Bill Gordon in the DVa.
Even the old tank was recalled into action.

I'm glad they were able to get some aircraft in the air. I left when it was raining so I missed that. I guess the wind died down as well on Saturday for the Bleriot flight. It was pretty gusty that afternoon..
Thanks!
John

ORA air show, Saturday 8 September 2007
Hi John!
After a brief rain shower, wind gusts were minimized. There was a full air show, albeit somewhat contracted in time. It really was a maximum effort, given that the ground crew appears short handed (Stan Segalla lent a hand here). Bill King, Chad Wille, Jim Record and Bill Gordon did a superb job keeping the planes flying. The same effort was applied to the Sunday show as well.
Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you.
Susan

Hellcat,
Thanks for posting the pictures...I particularly like the flightline photo with the Jenny in the foreground and Avro on the runway...and thanks for the WWI Aero booth pic's too!
Best regards,
Tom Polapink
