Introductions...
Hi everyone. I'm a some-time lurker in this forum. I've been a big fan of the Aerodrome since the 70's. My dad used to take us once a year. I'm a dad now myself, and I've been continuing the tradition with my own 2 boys. I saw some posts requesting pictures from the Oct. 2007 show, and I have some on my site : . There is another decent gallery here :

. My account is new, so I'm having trouble posting the links. I'm more than open in allowing re-use of these photos for non-commercial purposes. I have many other photos that are not on the site if anyone is looking for a particular plane.
All the best - Sean

Sean,
Thanks a ton for the link and welcome to the forum, you took some really great pics. I especially like the shot of your boy Evan smiling, he looks like he is having a blast.
Phil

Hi Sean,
So great to view your photos, they are all beautiful shots. Would love to see more of the crew from the old days when Cole was alive, and up to 2003, if you have them.
Thanks so much for sharing!

I had the wonderful opertunity to work for Cole and Rita one summer during the late 60s. What a great experience it was. I have posted some pictures from back then including some of Dr. Coughlin (Brians' dad) and his Fleet Biplane as well as other planes and pilots on my website. However, this forum will not allow me to post the address.....

Cole standing and dad in the 'pit
I had free run of the place from a pretty early age, much to the consternation of others I'm sure. I'm pretty sure this is probably pre-show on a Saturday or Sunday where I was tailing dad as he was doing pre-flights and engine checks on all of the aircraft.

clay,
man, those are some super photos! really joyful scenes and so sweet with all the kid shots. what great childhood memories you must have with your parent's involvement at ORA! thanks so much for sharing them with us. did your parents meet at ORA? is that you in the shot of the cute little boy, leaning up against the new standard?
i love the shot with your dad and cole doing the trademark palen pose: chest out, head back, fist on hip, proud smile.
