I looked Mr. Nasta up on the Skytypers site and read a little about him. He was a man of many talents and interests. I think it wonderful that he expressed his love for all these things, from art to flying, in environments of sharing- to inspire people to try new things themselves.
To the Nasta family, thank you for sharing this man with us.

My sympathies are extended to the Nasta family at this terrible time, as well. From what little I've read, Vinny Nasta seemed to be a terrific and multi-talented guy.
What a sad day.

It may sound trite, but he was doing what he loved when it happened.

That is as nice as it gets, a fitting tribute.
With that kind of mindset, and what was said by the eyewitness, something happened to that airplane that could not be helped.
My Condolences to family and friends.
