Hi,

can anyone tell me the locations of KG 5's aerodromes during 1916? And by the way: who was their commander?

Hallo Thorsten

I only have some loose notes regarding the half Saxon KG 5, but I vote for that Hptm Rudolf Hohl* was their first commander.. .. But I dont have original documents which verify this....

*mentioned by me in an earlier thread under "People"..

Ooops...!

I saw that the original question was about the location of KG 5. I have a note that they probably was located at Mouzon* (within 5 Army) from "start" in Mar 1916 until early Sep 1916 when they moved to the Somme(within 1 Army)

*with exception for one Kasta from mid May 1916 until probably mid summer 1916...
