Hello Forumites,
This on a somewhat lighter note..... While paging through a book on teddy bears, I found a photo of "Sopwith" who belonged to 2nd Lt. Arthur Turnbull, RFC. Then I located a related link of Sopwith's most recent adventure. http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/a...ws/sopwith.html I know pilots liked to carry an item with them for good luck. Does anyone have any further information on Arthur Turnbull (KIA 1917) or pilots with teddy bear mascots? Best Regards, FliegerJG1
