I'm trying to understand the use of bombsights in British and German aircraft. I've noted a couple of different sights for each but little in the way of images and info about how they function. For instance how was the Low Altitude Bomb Sight Mark IIA and the Equal-Distance Bomb Sight mounted and used ? There are other earlier British sights as well.

The later German ones, the Goerz bomb sight has been mentioned in the forum before, and is much like later WWII types in operation.

The French used a Triangle type sight, which was a mix of lenses and levers to function.

I have one drawing of the German sight, but none of the British ones.

Can anyone shed any light of this topic ?
